The 31-year-old Egyptian star has been at the center of transfer talks to the Middle East, specifically with Al Ittihad, who are reportedly preparing a staggering £118 million bid. The clock is ticking, with the Saudi Pro League transfer deadline set for September 30, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Despite the growing buzz, Liverpool’s manager, Jurgen Klopp, has attempted to downplay the persistent rumors of Salah’s departure from Anfield. Likewise, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, emphasized earlier this month that his client remains steadfastly committed to Liverpool.

Adding fuel to the speculative fire, Salah recently shared a photo on his social media accounts. This image featured scientist and author Dr. Joe Dispenza, taken from an episode of the Jay Shetty Podcast in May, where Dr. Dispenza discussed the path to success. Intriguingly, the photo coincided with a statement by Dr. Dispenza at the beginning of the podcast: “Most people lose their free will.” This cryptic post left fans wondering if there was a hidden message behind Salah’s choice of imagery.

Renowned football journalist David Ornstein, speaking to Football Daily, weighed in on Salah’s situation, stating, “I’ve given up predicting what will happen in this industry, let alone this story.” Ornstein highlighted the unwavering interest from Al-Ittihad, suggesting they may persist until the end of the transfer window, even after the Saudi Pro League deadline on September 20.

Liverpool has been steadfast in asserting that Salah is not for sale, exemplified by their recent social media post featuring him happily training. As far as the club is concerned, Salah will continue to be an integral part of their squad, playing in upcoming matches. However, Ornstein cautioned, “You wouldn’t put it past Al-Ittihad…to make a late surge before the window closes.” While the current information may not confirm a transfer, Ornstein wisely concluded with, “never say never.”
