Mo Salah Reveals Man City Star Among ‘Dream’ Liverpool Signings Alongside Messi and Ronaldo

In a surprising revelation, Liverpool’s Mo Salah has expressed his admiration for Manchester City’s standout player, Kevin De Bruyne, naming him as one of his ‘dream’ teammates he’d love to have at Anfield.

Since his arrival from Roma in 2017, the Egyptian sensation has graced the field with exceptional talents during his tenure at Liverpool. Now considered a modern-day legend for the club, Salah has netted an impressive 198 goals in 322 games, solidifying his iconic status at Anfield.

Under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp, Salah has contributed significantly to Liverpool’s resurgence, securing major titles such as the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.

While forming an iconic attacking trio with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, instrumental in Liverpool’s success, Salah has also adapted to new partnerships with emerging talents like Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, Cody Gakpo, and Luis Diaz, revitalizing the Reds’ attacking force.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Salah unveiled his ultimate dream teammates, selecting the legendary duo of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, icons who dominated the football scene for over a decade, primarily representing Barcelona and Real Madrid in a historic rivalry.

Surprisingly, among his Premier League picks, Salah singled out Kevin De Bruyne, lauding his remarkable vision and playmaking ability. He expressed, “Messi or Ronaldo, but if I pick one in the Premier League then I’d choose Kevin. He has vision, I’m sure he can find me anywhere with the ball so I would say Messi, Ronaldo and then Kevin.”

Acknowledging De Bruyne’s prowess and the quality of the entire Manchester City team, Salah remained focused on his own game, stating, “He’s a great player, the whole team (City) is great. But I just try to play my game and not focus on anyone else.”

Although the prospect of seeing Salah and De Bruyne on the same side might remain a far-off dream, the sheer idea has sparked excitement, imagining the havoc they could wreak upon opposing defenses.
