Liverpool’s preparations for their upcoming Europa League showdown with LASK took an entertaining turn today as two of the club’s South American talents, Darwin Nunez and Alexis Mac Allister, engaged in a light-hearted exchange during their training session at Kirkby.

As the Reds geared up for their European venture, they conducted a rigorous training session at the AXA Training Centre before embarking on their journey to Austria later in the day. Amidst the drills and exercises, a comical incident unfolded involving Nunez, the Uruguayan striker, and Mac Allister, the Argentine World Cup winner.

During a particular drill aimed at fine-tuning their tactics for tomorrow’s match, Nunez playfully nudged Mac Allister in the back a couple of times, appearing to urge him to pick up the pace. The Argentine midfielder, sporting a good-natured grin, seemed to understand the message, and the two shared a brief, light-hearted moment on the field.

The question of whether one or both of these talented players will feature in the starting lineup against LASK remains uncertain, as Liverpool’s manager, Jurgen Klopp, is expected to make significant changes compared to their previous victory against Wolves. Nevertheless, judging by their spirited display during training, both Nunez and Mac Allister seem eager and well-prepared for action should they be called upon at the Raiffeisen Arena.
