In a heartwarming revelation, a local resident named Chairmaine articulated the profound impact of these facilities, stating, “Facilities like this are the bedrock of a promising future for our children, and it moves me deeply.” Chairmaine went on to reflect on the transformation these provisions have brought, particularly for young girls who once had limited horizons. “Our girls were once confined to societal norms, never daring to envision careers beyond school or domestic work,” Chairmaine emphasized. “Now, the landscape has shifted, and our youth are rekindling their dreams and embracing new possibilities.”

Notably, his contributions have reached beyond the realm of sports infrastructure. He facilitated Hout Bay United’s acquisition of training kits from Liverpool’s former kit sponsor, New Balance, and additionally pledged a personal donation of £10,000 to the club’s children’s charity.
