Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Agent Sparks Controversy with ‘Like’ on Liverpool Transfer Critique
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s brother and agent recently raised eyebrows with a ‘like’ on a post that questioned Liverpool’s transfer decision. The Reds, under Jurgen Klopp’s management, acquired four new players over the summer, bolstering their midfield ranks.
Among the new arrivals, Alexis Mac Allister’s signing was confirmed as soon as the transfer window opened. Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch also joined Liverpool’s ranks before the transfer window closed.
Liverpool enjoyed a strong start to the season, winning five of their first six Premier League matches and drawing one. Mac Allister and Szoboszlai made notable contributions to the team’s early success. However, it was the deal to secure Wataru Endo’s services that sparked a bit of controversy.
Tyler Alexander-Arnold, the brother and agent of Trent Alexander-Arnold, ‘liked’ a tweet from Liverpool supporter @LFCLaurie, which criticized the club’s decision to spend £16 million on Endo and grant him a four-year contract. The tweet read, “Spending £16m on Endo and handing him a four-year deal is exactly why we need a sporting director in.”

Tyler Alexander-Arnold is an integral part of the PLG Group agency, where he serves as a director and manages his brother’s affairs. Trent Alexander-Arnold is also part of the agency through a co-deal. PLG Group represents other notable football figures, including Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson, West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, and Brentford’s Aaron Hickey. The agency also looks after various young talents within Liverpool’s youth teams.
Since arriving at Liverpool from Stuttgart in August, Wataru Endo has made two starts and three substitute appearances. Speaking after Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over West Ham, during which the Japanese captain had a brief three-minute cameo as a substitute, Klopp shed some light on Endo’s integration into the team. Klopp stated, “He needs to get used to the things here. Wataru is a super guy, very calm and very polite, and that cost him the first two weeks, maybe.”
Klopp went on to express his confidence in Endo, emphasizing his importance to the squad. He acknowledged that Endo would play a significant role, starting games and contributing substantially to the team’s success. In the manager’s eyes, Endo is a vital asset to Liverpool, and he’s pleased to have him on board.
