Klopp Asks Liverpool Fans to Refrain from Singing His Name
Following Liverpool’s thrilling win over Tottenham, Jurgen Klopp has asked the club’s supporters to refrain from singing his name during matches. Despite Liverpool’s early three-goal lead, the German manager was unhappy with the atmosphere, explaining that the match was far from over.
Fans had been singing a chant dedicated to Klopp, to the tune of ‘I Feel Fine’ by The Beatles. Klopp asked supporters to hold off on singing his song during matches and save it for post-game celebrations.
Liverpool currently sits in fifth place in the Premier League table, seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester United and nine points behind third-placed Newcastle United.
With only five games left in the season, the club is hoping to secure Champions League qualification. Will they be able to do it? Only time will tell.
