A fiery clash erupted during an under 19 Madrid derby as former Liverpool teammates Fernando Torres and Alvaro Arbeloa found themselves on opposing sides. Torres, currently serving as the manager of Atletico Madrid Juvenil A, faced off against Arbeloa’s Real Madrid Juvenil A team.

Contrary to expectations of a friendly reunion, tensions flared between the two ex-Liverpool stars during the quarter-final match of the Division de Honor Juvenil. The thrilling encounter ended in a 2-2 draw, securing a 4-2 aggregate victory for Real Madrid.

The intense rivalry synonymous with the Madrid derby was evidently present even at the under 19 level. A video capturing the incident surfaced, depicting Torres and Arbeloa engaging in a heated confrontation on the touchline. Torres proceeded to give his former teammate a push on the chest, resulting in significant consequences.

Arbeloa was cautioned with a yellow card for his reaction, while Torres received a red card, leading to a commotion between the benches and players from both sides.

Reports suggest that Torres uttered the words, “I’ll blow your head off,” to which Arbeloa defiantly replied, “Start whenever you want.”
