Gary Neville Under Fire from Liverpool Fans for Offensive Joke About Scousers
Former Manchester United player and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has come under fire from Liverpool fans after making a joke about people from Liverpool, known as “Scousers”.
The joke was made on social media and referred to a stereotype about people from Liverpool being thieves and criminals.
Liverpool fans quickly expressed their disappointment and frustration, with one fan highlighting how such jokes perpetuate negative stereotypes and contribute to the mistreatment of people from Liverpool.
This is not the first time Neville has made comments that have caused offense to fans from Liverpool. Neville and his colleague, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, are known for teasing each other, but some fans believe that Neville crossed the line with his latest joke.
