Danny Murphy suggests four Liverpool players, including Fabinho, should depart the club in the upcoming summer transfer window
Danny Murphy, a former Liverpool midfielder, has recently suggested that four Liverpool players need to leave the club during the summer transfer window.
With Liverpool currently sitting in eighth place in the Premier League, and 10 points away from the Champions League qualification spots, Murphy believes that major changes are needed to rebuild the squad.
Speaking after the 0-0 draw against Chelsea on Tuesday, Murphy named Fabinho, Milner, Keita, and Oxlade-Chamberlain as the players who need to move on in order to free up wages and allow Klopp to rebuild.
Murphy also highlighted that players like Henderson and Robertson are crucial to Liverpool’s future, but Tsimikas isn’t good enough as an understudy.
While Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain are both out of contract at the end of the season, Klopp is keen to offer Milner a new deal, despite his contract ending in June.
