Liverpool Shift Focus to Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips as Bellingham Move Falls Through

Liverpool is rumored to be shifting their focus away from Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and towards Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips. According to reports, the Reds were unable to afford Bellingham and are now looking for an alternative to fill the gap in their midfield. Phillips, who had a less than ideal first season under Pep Guardiola at City, could be the player Liverpool are considering.

Despite the transfer rumor mill being in full swing, Liverpool’s priority at the moment is their upcoming match against West Ham. The Hammers are also said to be interested in signing Phillips as they prepare for the possibility of losing star player Declan Rice in the summer transfer window.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will indeed make a move for Phillips, but the speculation is sure to continue until the transfer window closes. In the meantime, Liverpool’s focus is on securing a victory against West Ham and maintaining their push for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
