Klopp Talks About Diogo Jota’s “Extreme Threat” and Stellar Performance for Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Diogo Jota’s recent form, saying he is delighted to see the “super smart player” back to his best. Jota, who had gone 12 months without scoring, suffered from serious injuries during that time, but has shown his ability by scoring four goals in his last two games. Klopp believes Jota’s injuries have been the only obstacle to his success, as the forward is an “extreme threat” with his speed, aerial ability, and skill with both feet.
Liverpool will face West Ham in their next Premier League clash, and Klopp is happy to see David Moyes still in charge of the Hammers, as he would have become the oldest manager in the league if the Scot had been sacked. Klopp is currently fourth on the list of oldest managers in the league, behind Wolves’ Julen Lopetegui, Moyes, and Crystal Palace’s Roy Hodgson.
As Liverpool continue their push for a top-four finish, Klopp will be hoping that Jota can maintain his current form and help the team secure crucial victories in the remaining games of the season.
