Liverpool may turn to Aurelien Tchouameni as Jude Bellingham alternative

Liverpool’s pursuit of Jude Bellingham may have ended in disappointment, but the club could still land former top target Aurelien Tchouameni this summer.

According to David Maddock at the Mirror, Jurgen Klopp may “resurrect his interest” in the French midfielder should Real Madrid be willing to listen to a bid.

However, it’s unclear whether Los Blancos will allow Tchouameni to join a direct European rival. Maddock noted that the deal would cost Liverpool around £90m, a steep price for one signing.

With the disappointment of missing out on Bellingham, Liverpool’s recruitment team needs to build a new plan and stick to it ahead of the window.
